Sweet little drawnwork pin case, or pin book.  It is worked in silk thread over silk fabric wrapped over card.  The edge is trimmed with corded ribbon and the inside has leaves of wool in which the lady stuck her precious pins and needles.  It is decorated on the front cover with silk threads of green and peach.  There is some damage around the corners so please look at the photos closely.  I really don't find the damage to be much of an apology for a 19th century sewing implement.  3 1/4" square.  Circa 1850.
