Pretty mid-size bandbox will be great in your stack of display. White ground with flowers and foliage of pale to dark greens. The border of circle with quarter moons on a very dark background really draws the eye to this box. Stitched pasteboard construction. Small amount of moisture damage (which is usual for these early cardboard boxes) which does show on one end. Expected roughness around the edges but a very nice, sound box. 11 1/2" x 8" deep x 5" tall. American, 2nd quarter of 19th century.
