I recently bought several silhouette busts from a long-time Southern collection. The collection included some surprises as I took them out of frames for cleaning. These silhouettes are a great opportunity to add to your collection or buy as holiday gifts at good prices.

Here’s a sweet little fully painted lady in a great period frame. The lady wears a blue neckerchief, with a hair knot at the back of her head. She has an exaggerated arch in her bust termination with sharp points in front and back. She resides in a canted profile wood frame with a carved lip to imitate a liner. The framed size is 5 ¼” x 6 ¼”. Circa 1820. Priced right for gifting—geez the frame is worth more than the price!
